The family bedrooms are located upstairs with the guest room and maid's room located on the ground floor. A large balcony and veranda are located away from the main entrance to face the view over the yard. These are accessed through fully operable hinged full-length doors. A double-height living room connects all spaces and creates a truly open plan which works to circulate the hot air thus cooling the house naturally. The architectural style is borrowed from Zanzibar (with a touch of rustic) architecture which in turn is influenced by Arabic and Indian architecture.
